(Registration No: 202501043324 (1644732-U)) ("we", "us", "our"), the legal entity operating the MavWise brand and movement, collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or join the MavWise community.

We are committed to processing your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") of Malaysia and its principles, including the General, Notice and Choice, Disclosure, Security, Retention, Data Integrity and Access principles.

By using this website or submitting your details through our forms, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • Identity and contact data — your full name, email address and WhatsApp number, submitted through our sign-up form.

  • Limit processing — request that we limit the processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing purposes;
  • Be informed — be told the purposes for which your data is collected and the parties to whom it may be disclosed.

If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide you with certain services or updates, but we will stop processing your data for the withdrawn purposes without undue delay.

We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within 21 days, as required under the PDPA. We may charge a reasonable fee for data access requests where permitted by law.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements. As a guide, sign-up and lead data is retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised, unless you withdraw consent earlier or a longer period is required by law. This is applied in accordance with the PDPA Retention Principle.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfer

Some of our service providers (for example analytics and communication platforms) may process or store data on servers located outside Malaysia. Where your personal data is transferred outside Malaysia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a level of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA — through provider safeguards, contractual terms, or by relying on your consent — consistent with Section 129 of the PDPA (as amended).

12. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk of significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner within the timeframe required under the PDPA (as amended in 2024), and will inform affected individuals without undue delay where required.
